Keyword Generation, Editing and Phonetic Rules
KLOO is an intuitive and innovative way of learning languages. Based on memorisation, KLOO uses fun games to help children as well as adults learn the basics of a foreign language without having to worry about grammar. In these games, learners are encouraged to remember as many words and sentences as they can through the use of playing cards. These cards are designed to give memory and pronunciation tips whilst increasing the players’ vocabulary.
KLOO asked Creative Culture to undertake detailed quality assurance of the playing cards. Our challenge was to ensure linguistic accuracy and to set simplified phonetic rules that would enable players to pronounce words in the most accurate way possible without the presence of a native speaker. After going through the 520 cards per language, we left it to the players to learn, enjoy and avoid sentences such as “I eat the bike”!
